This is the last season that Serrano Del Sol is available for sale, as the supplier has discontinued the variety. We feel that Sureño is a good substitute to use in its place. Sureño has a strong, upright growing plant that produces big yields of Serrano type fruit. The dark green fruit, which ripen red, measure 3-3 4 long x 1 2 wide and taper to a blunt point. The fruit are firm, during ripening and have a great Serrano flavor. Resistant to PVY (races 0,1,2).
